MTV EMAs 2022- The Winners
MTV EMAs hosted their yearly award ceremony at PSD BANK DOME which is located in Germany. This is the sixth time the Europe Music Awards has been hosted in Germany, where many artists from all over the world attended. The fabulous Rita Ora and Taika Waititi hosted the magnificent event.
With four trophies, including the Best Pop, Best Longform, Best Video for “All Too Well: The Short Film,” and the coveted Best Artist Award, Taylor Swift utterly dominated this year’s ceremony.
Another remarkable artist that attended was Harry Styles and he was nominated for seven different awards! But the night’s biggest winners were Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, Seventeen and Blackpink.
There were high expectations for some of the British stars competing such as Ed Sheeran, Adele and Harry Styles who had topped the nominations, but Taylor Swift entered the picture and swept up the awards.
Although the MTV EMA Awards are mostly focused on the winners, there were several performances throughout the evening such as David Guetta and Bebe Rexha with “I’m Good (Blue)”. Another eye-catching artist that performed was our very own UK artist Lewis Capaldi. Mr Capaldi sang his new single “Forget Me”, which was officially released in September 2022.
