British Asian stars DJ Lyan, Nish, Mumzy Stranger and Kanika Kapoor have teamed up for a mega collaboration. Do you want to join them at the Afterparty?
The mega collab came about after Mumzy recorded a demo and asked Kanika Kapoor to jump on the track earlier this year. The British Asian scene has been going since the 70s, but in the 2000s the artists started working together much more and this has propelled artists to success. The British Asian industry is very different from the mainstream commercial scene, the stars have a special bond and come together often to help each other grow.
The music video was shot in London and it was a hectic day but filming four different artists was an experience. I shot behind the scenes footage for Kanika Kapoor, it was a great experience working closely with an artist at her stature. Such an incredible fierce independent woman.
Overall the day was filled with positivity and felt like you were just having a big house party!
