Coachella Weekend 2 proves that things really do come better in pairs
Power duets, and iconic performances: The second weekend of Coachella whipped up a social media frenzy with surprise guests Lizzo, Hayley Williams, Kendrick Lamar and more joining the already star-studded lineup.
Harry Styles brings disco glamour to the Coachella main stage

Donned in pink personalised Gucci, with the initials HS bedazzled on his butt, Harry Styles took to the stage for the second time and it was wonderfully camp. He opened the show with his new track “As It Was”, before giving audience members a taste of his new album (Harry’s House, out May 20th), with ballad “Boyfriends”, and disco track “Late Night Talking”. He then performed queer anthem “Medicine” and proudly encouraged the crowd to “be the person they most want to be tonight.” If that wasn’t enough, he brought fellow pop star and bestie, Lizzo, onto the stage. The two of them wore matching pink furry coats as they strutted down the stage, singing disco classic “I Will Survive” followed by fan favourite: “What Makes You Beautiful”, the 2011 1D song that started it all for Styles. This is not the first time that the glamourous pair have performed together. They previously united in 2019, for a lively performance of Lizzo’s song “Juice”.
Writing on Instagram, Styles thanked his band, and Coachella for helping put the show together, before declaring “I had the absolute time of my life. H”
Baby Keem keeps it in the family

The rapper wowed crowds with his incredible performance at the Sahara tent. His youthful aggression was reminiscent of a young Kayne, and the audience went wild for his smash hit “ORANGE SODA”. However, it was his special guest and rumoured cousin, Kendrick Lamar, that stole the show. The two of them performed “Vent” and “Family Ties”. The latter recently won Best Rap Performance at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards. It was Keem’s first Grammy, and Lamar’s fourteenth.
Neon pyrotechnics lit up the stage as the two jumped around, hyping the crowd and each other. Lamar’s surprise appearance comes just days after he announced the date of his long-awaited album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, out May 13th.
Billie Eilish is Happier Than Ever
After delivering arguably one of the best sets in Coachella history in weekend one, the question of the hour was could the 20-year-old singer-songwriter do it again?

The answer was yes and then some.
Eilish opened the set with her hit song, “Bury a Friend”, her strangely hypnotic voice and dark visuals echoing across the festival. At just 20, Eilish is the youngest headliner to ever grace the Coachella main stage, but she is no stranger to breaking boundaries. She is already halfway to an EGOT, having recently won an Academy Award for her 007 soundtrack song, “No Time to Die”, and she is the winner of SEVEN Grammys. The 90-minute set included all her biggest hits, including “Therefore I Am”, “Ocean Eyes” and “idontwannabeyouanymore.”
Perhaps the highlight of the set, however, was the surprise appearance by Pop-punk icon, Hayley Williams. The two sang an acoustic version of Paramore’s “Misery Business”, and Williams bashfully admitted that it was her first time performing at Coachella.
Eilish finished the set with her biggest song “Bad Guy” which shot her to superstardom in 2019. It has been streamed on Spotify over 2 billion times.
Later, posting on Instagram, Eilish stated “never could’ve imagined this would be my life. Thank @coachella.
