Lauv releases his latest single ‘All 4 Nothing’, from a rumoured upcoming album. He is currently on tour across the US but has started releasing new songs.
Singer-songwriter, born in California has been hitting the music world by storm with his latest releases. Just last week the singer was in New York and tweeted out that he would be on 5th Avenue to meet fans, and even surprised them with a performance. He met with fans, posed for pictures with them and brought his guitar out to perform a few songs for them. A lovely sunny afternoon in Manhattan. Not many big artists just go out in public and meet the fans anymore, especially since COVID but even with the newfound fame with social media, artists with a huge fan following don’t just meet the fans. Lauv is very unique to the industry and continues to stay humble by connecting with his fans and surprising them on the streets in an open setting.
His new track ‘All 4 Nothing’ talks about being so in love and giving it everything. He talks about being so deep in love with his girlfriend, in a press conference he said “It’s really about finding love and a place where I felt like I was really low and suffering from a lot of anxiety”. Lauv spoke out more about his struggles and how writing this song was almost therapeutic, but he wanted to balance the darkness with the fun experiences of love.
Opinion:
I can see a long-standing career for Lauv, as he constantly adapts his music production and takes risks with his vocals to try new things. He layers his vocals to create an echoed sound on some tracks, and uses complicated production techniques showcasing his exceptional skills not just as a vocalist, but producer. Lauv has a big future ahead of him as a global artist worldwide, I predict he will soon embark on an arena tour across the UK and build his way up to arenas across Europe while he continues to perform across America. Soon he will become one of the top stars of 2022, touring across Europe, India and Australia and will be ranked in the top 20 artists in the world. But for now, he is embarking on a US tour, driving fans wild with new music and random busking pop-ups in town.
