The Brits: New hosts, new presenters

This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Mo Gilligan, a first time for the Double BAFTA winning British stand-up comedian, whilst Clara Amfo and Maya Jama are set to return as presenters for The BRIT Awards Red Carpet show on ITV2. 

Gilligan said:

The first wave of performers for this year’s ceremony have finally been announced and what a line-up it is. Fans can look forward to performances from: Dave, Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran, Liam Gallagher, Little Simz and this year’s Rising Star Award winner, Holly Humberstone. This will be Humberstone’s biggest audience to date and will also be Global Superstar, Doja Cat’s first UK performance and BRITS debut.

The show will be broadcasted exclusively on ITV and ITV Hub for UK viewers for the 9th year in a row, tune in from 7pm. The red carpet event will be live-streamed exclusively on YouTube, giving non-UK viewers access to the pre-show and all the gossip before the big night. Youtube Shorts will be sponsoring the 2022 Artist of the Year award, fans will also have access to exclusive behind-the-scenes footage on the night through Youtube.

How to watch

The BRIT Awards with Mastercard’s 42nd show will be held at The O2 arena on Tuesday 8th February at 8pm. Watch on ITV or ITV Hub.
