If you’ve heard of Yeek before then well done, but If you haven’t then you are in for a treat. I welcome you, your new favourite artist. In the same vein as Dominic Fike, Yeek, a New Jersey born artist, can do it all – from produce, rap, sing and as well as direct and edit his own music videos.

The true essence of a DIY artist in today’s times.

When asked about his dream collaboration the singer answers with “I’d go with Piles”, an American 90’s rapper mostly known for his singles “Shawty” and “Hypnotized.” But unlike other artists, Yeek’s ability to blend and transition between a pallet of influences makes him more interesting than the rest of the pack. His music is influenced by Indie, Rock, Trap, Hip-Hop and Pop which makes him more interesting than the rest of the pack. A quick listen through his catalogue will leave most listens wanting to hear more. Yeek has taken advantage of the relatively inexpensive and technological accessibility that we live nowadays with producing his own music and editing and many of his earlier music videos.

Top song:

“Only in the West” is by far Yeek’s most-streamed single with over 30 millions streams on Spotify alone. However, I would suggest first-time listeners hear Sebastian LP first to get a true idea of Yeeks beginning and his musical evolution into IDK Where EP, which contains guest features from Dominic Fike, UMI and The Neighbourhood’s frontman Jesse Rutherford.
